This four-story designer apartment building has 46 units and is home to many students and young professionals. A welcoming entrance adorned with seasonal flowers greets residents. Going beyond simply "living alone," the building strives to add something extra to daily life, offering welcome parties at the ground-floor Cafe Chaos, participation in summer festivals, planting flowers for the community, and pursuing ways to make living here "enjoyable."

We decorate the entrance with seasonal flowers. It's like a flower shop, and it's very popular because it's so soothing to see when you come home!

Since I live nearby, I can quickly come over and handle any problems you may have during your tenancy. I like puns, and my hobby is taking leisurely train trips. I also enjoy watching movies and hiking. My special skill is memorizing train station names (Tokaido Line, Joban Line).

Living in Beatles Square Yokohama

Let me introduce you to the room of Arisa, who lives in Beatles Square Yokohama.

Seeing what the rooms actually look like really helps you imagine what it would be like to live there! Arisa lives in a 6-tatami mat 1K apartment with a separate bathroom and toilet. (The layout and interior design vary from room to room, but the size of the Western-style room is the same for rooms on the 2nd to 4th floors.)

Design Concept & Layout

I envisioned a "luxury hotel."

I aimed to create a space that felt devoid of clutter by unifying the entire room in white. I made sure to keep possessions to a minimum, using only what I already had to avoid accumulating more things than necessary. I used soft, eye-friendly lighting to create a pleasant atmosphere. I realized that even within the category of white, there are many different shades of white.

I also made sure the bed and TV stand were the same height to make the room feel more spacious. It was fun decorating the room with the help of my friends. I really enjoy spending time in my room.

Q: What are some of your particular points of focus or things you've done to decorate your room?

Lighting & Green

I love the side lamps around the TV that I bought in Hawaii, and the lights around the curtains. I love how just one light can change the look of a room.

I bought this calming Monstera plant at IKEA. Basically, I try to surround myself with things that make my eyes sparkle.

Bed & Linen

I also chose white for the bed. Actually, the entire space underneath is storage. I bought a bed with built-in storage to keep things from getting cluttered.

I keep my on-season clothes and off-season items that I don't use often in my closet.

Dining & Workspace

I chose white for the table and chairs as well. I eat meals and use my laptop here.

There is one induction cooktop in the kitchen. I keep the number of items here to a minimum as well.

The kitchenette isn't particularly spacious. However, there's a custom-designed drawer-type storage space under the induction cooktop, which is convenient for storing small items. I manage to use just one frying pan and one pot, as well as an oven and blender.

I love cooking and I try to eat lots of vegetables. I always use Summit supermarket on my way home, but I also enjoy buying fish from the fish shop in the shopping district because I love fish.

This is what the atmosphere looks like from the entrance. I also like the terracotta pattern in the hallway. The hallway has a laundry area and a kitchen.

Night-Light & Balcony

At night, I light my favorite lamp and candles, enjoying the evening on the balcony. I put up a sheet on the outside for privacy, allowing me to relax and unwind.

It's absolutely fantastic!

I had been looking for an apartment for many years, and while browsing the internet, I found Beatles Square Yokohama. I fell in love with it at first sight after seeing their website. I immediately inquired about it, and although I couldn't see the interior because the previous tenant hadn't moved out yet at the time of listing, I looked at the exterior and materials and thought, "This is it!" and applied.

The fact that the apartment building is run by a family gives me a sense of security, and they keep a close eye on everything. The flowers in the entrance are beautiful, and it's the kind of apartment building that makes you want to come home. When I invited my friends over, they said, "Once you've seen this place, you won't want to live anywhere else!" The place I used to live was in an area with many families, so it was lively in a good way.

I was worried about the noise from the trains since Beatles Square Yokohama is located along the railway tracks, but it's not noticeable if you close the windows, and you can live quietly in a residential area. The delivery lockers and free Wi-Fi are also a great help.

There's no other place quite like this, and I'm able to live comfortably every day!
